Leigh is a fully qualified acupuncturist and Tui Na practitioner, she currently practices in her private Cheltenham clinic and also makes home visits.
Leigh studied at the prestigious College of Traditional Acupuncture near Warwick and was awarded a BA (Hons) Degree and a Licentiate in Traditional Acupuncture by Oxford Brookes University.
Since qualifying Leigh has attended numerous post graduate courses, including acupuncture for pain relief, fertility and facial rejuvenation. She also holds a diploma in Tui Na, which is an ancient form of Chinese remedial massage and a BTEC diploma in Sports Massage.
Leigh is a fully licensed, registered practitioner and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, which is the main regulatory body for Acupuncture in the UK and is insured to treat acupuncture and its various modalities including: cupping, moxibustion, gua sha and Tui Na
Members of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) have completed a thorough training of at least three years in traditional acupuncture and biomedical sciences appropriate to the practice of acupuncture and must complete a minimum of 30 hours CPD (Continuing Professional Development) each year.
